Stony look
Fashionable clothes and accessories turn heads. If you are part of the population that loves to make a fashion statement, it’s time to get into the groove with bling

Traditional clothes, t-shirts, jeans or accessories, sporting bling on clothes are in and soaring. Stones can add zing to your boring wardrobe. The plain old embroidery or designs on clothes are passe. Bling can zing up your dull t-shirt or your boring denim pants.
Stones on Indian clothes
You can never go wrong in a classy salwar suit or an elegant Kurti, stones only add to the style factor in them. Stones lining the neck and sleeves look attractive along with the embroidery. The color coordination is important, don’t overdo the stones or use multi-colored stones unless necessary. On kurta buttons, stones look great and add a touch of class to it.
Stones on t-shirts and shirts
Get the bling t-shirt on to spunk up your look. Stars, messages or any random design with glittering bling on your t-shirt will get you that second glance. Your boring shirt will not look so boring with stones on the collar, cuffs and even the pockets. Then again, overdoing the stone deal will only spoil the look of it.
Leg wear and bling
Bored of gun shots and embroideries in your jeans? Use your creativity to create a style statement with stones that can give your old jeans the designer look. The pockets are safe bets to sport the bling. You can even use the embroidery in your jeans and decorate them with colorful stones. Try replacing rivets in your jeans with stones for a more stylish look.
Accessories and bling
Think beyond neck pieces and bracelets. Try donning stylish accessories like bags, wallets and wrist bands with bling. Not only do they look classy, they sure score you those brownie points.
It’s not just the women that sport the bling style; men have joined the bling bandwagon too. What are you waiting for? Get the bling on and glitter your way through. After all, all that glitters is fashionable.

Red alert
There is something about red lipstick. And it’s not just the fact that Marilyn Monroe wore it.
Red lipstick is not for those who want to blend in with the crowd. Only if you think you can look like you’re not desperately in need of a tissue to wipe off the paint, should you don it. The paler the skin, the more prominent it looks. And you better steer clear of color on other parts of your face if you are wearing red lipstick. Go light on the eyes and the blush. Forget the eyeliner and stick to just mascara, dust your face with powder and your cheeks with a soft blush. Always line your lips before applying color as the gloss and sheer color effect of red gives it the about-to-bleed effect.
Choose the shade of red according to your skin type. If your complexion is towards pink, plum shades will look good on you, while those with yellowish skin tone will look good in warmer reds that have a brown base. It would be good if you could match red lips with red nails. If your lips are thin, lighter shades of red will be flattering. Those with fuller lips should opt for deeper, darker reds.
